Made from shrunken buffalo leather. This is a traditional method of tanning where the hide is stretched over a fire pit causing the hide to shrink and create a wrinkled look on the hide.
All parts of this bag are made from the same buffalo.
The buffalo was taken for food. This is a wild animal and the leather has imperfections like scaring.
I value imperfections as that is what distinguishes the individual animals' story.
